What we collect
When you contact us through this site or book a call, we collect the information you choose to share — typically your name, work email, company, website, approximate budget, and a message describing what you're working on.
We also collect minimal technical data automatically: page views, referrer, approximate location (city-level), browser type, and device class. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on this site.
How we use it
Your contact submissions are used to reply to your enquiry, qualify whether we're a fit, and — if we work together — to manage the engagement.
Aggregate analytics help us understand which pages are useful and where to focus improvements. We don't sell, rent, or share this data with third parties for marketing.
Where it's stored
Contact form submissions are stored in our email and CRM systems (currently HubSpot). Site analytics, if enabled, run through privacy-respecting tooling (Plausible or Cloudflare Web Analytics) — no cookies, no cross-site tracking.
We retain enquiry data for as long as the prospect is active. We delete it on request, or within 24 months of the last contact, whichever comes first.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or third-party tracking cookies. The only cookies you may encounter are functional ones set by embedded tools you choose to interact with (e.g. our Calendly booking widget). You can block these in your browser without affecting how the rest of the site works.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what personal data we hold about you, request a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@digitalvalence.com.ng with the subject line "Data request" and we'll respond within 30 days.
If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA respectively — including the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
Sub-processors
We use a small number of vendors to operate the business — typically Google Workspace (email), HubSpot (CRM), Cloudflare (hosting & DNS), Calendly (scheduling), and Stripe (invoicing for active clients). Each is responsible for protecting the data we share with them under their own terms.
Changes
If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and note the date below. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
